My research focuses on questions regarding personhood and consciousness, routed through the poetry of British Romanticism. I am particularly interested in the way Romantic poets make use of spatio-temporality, negation, and absence to draw our attention to the marginal, often inchoate phenomena that contribute to our sense of being, defining the human less by its autonomous capacities and more by its recursive and processual qualities.
