Literary Studies Today

Conditions, Challenges, Complexities

Literary Studies Today is a series addressing the need for literature, literary studies, and literary criticism in order to understand our world. Co-hosted by the Departments of English and Comparative Literature, speakers and panels will make vital inquiries into literature and criticriticism's unique ability to grasp our world's complexities and challenges.

This series is convened by Tim Bewes (English), Jacques Khalip (English), Marc Redfield (English and Comparative Literature) and Maru Pabón (Comparative Literature). It is supported by the Cogut Institute's Humanities Initiative Fund, the Wetmore Fund for Literature, and the Charles K Colver Lectureships & Publications Fund.

All events in the Literary Studies Today series are free and open to the public. Registration will open shortly.  For questions, please write to english@brown.edu.
